Yu Liangying, deputy to the National People's Congress, suggested that after the policy of restricting the use of second-hand vehicles was completely abolished, the construction of second-hand car information and credit systems should be accelerated, the order of used cars should be regulated, and the potential of used car market should be further released. At the same time, auto parts, maintenance, insurance, etc. should be promoted. The development of the service industry will promote the continuous optimization of the structure of the automobile market in China and achieve high-quality development.

According to statistics, in 2017, 1,680 second-hand car transactions in the country accumulated 1,240,900 second-hand car transactions, an increase of 19.33% year-on-year, and the transaction amount reached 809.272 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 34%. In December, the number of used car transactions was 1,23,900, a year-on-year increase of 13.85%, and the transaction amount reached 74.683 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.04%.
