A few weeks ago we held the opening ceremony of Huayu Continental Automotive Braking System (Chongqing) Co., Ltd., which we celebrate today. The construction of the Chongqing R&D Center broke ground, which is an important measure for the mainland Group to continuously deepen its strategy of “growing the market and serving the market.†The new Chongqing R&D center will enhance the mainland’s R&D capabilities and help us build closer customer relationships. More than a dozen volunteers from the Continental Group were located in a remote, impoverished area in Chongqing, a four-hour drive away from Chongqing’s urban area. It brought away more than a thousand books and added new desks, chairs and bookcases. The library filled with new books and the innovative Lego curriculum have broadened the children's horizons and imagination. Here, the children and volunteers spent a wonderful and warm time together. Supporting children’s education is a long-term commitment of the Continental Group. Mainland China has donated more than 7,000 books in China, benefiting nearly 10,000 students.
