In order to solve the above problems, the Hubei Provincial Metrology Institute formally established the project in September 2015, and launched the “Study of comprehensive verification system for smoke (gas) sampler” project. Over the past year or so, the project team has focused on various types of exhaust gas inspection requirements, combined with measurement expertise requirements, conducted in-depth research on the mechanism of equipment, and unremittingly promoted project research. It has successfully developed a soot (gas) sampler that covers measurement items such as pressure, flow, and temperature. Comprehensive calibration system can realize rapid verification of multiple parameters of the smoke (gas) sampler; At the same time, it introduces advanced ultrasonic flow measurement methods, automatic pressure generation system and dry body furnace temperature measurement system, making the smoke dust sampler integrated measurement more Accurate and fast. In the next stage, the project team will also integrate chemical, flow and other parameters detection items into the system, and optimize the system as a whole to form a highly automated measurement and inspection system.
In the face of increasingly stringent environmental protection requirements, the Hubei Provincial Institute of Metrology will focus on research and development of “smoke (gas) sampler comprehensive calibration system” and focus on strengthening measurement techniques in environmental protection related fields to provide rapid verification of various environmental monitoring instruments.
