First, the determination of the location
First of all, find out the specific position of each running screen and find the screen corresponding to the lightning protection devices at all levels to prevent the installation position of the lightning arrester from being wrong. (1) Whether the selected position is easy to install and operate, whether it is convenient to fix the mounting rails, and at least 20cm of operating space for equipment and lines must be ensured to prevent the human body from coming into contact with other operating equipment during installation to cause adverse effects on the equipment and personal injury.
(2) The installation position of the lightning arrester and the operating equipment must maintain a certain safety distance, and the distance to the surrounding operating equipment must not be less than 10cm.
(3) The location of the lightning protection device must also consider whether the distance between the lightning arrester and the terminal is good. The distance between the lightning arrester and the terminal and the grounding terminal must not exceed 1m.
(4) The installation of lightning arresters should be placed in a conspicuous position to facilitate the inspection of routine maintenance personnel.
Second, the installation of lightning protection device
(1) Mounting the rail The installation of the lightning arrester requires that the rail be sized so that the length of the rail can be measured before it is cut outdoors. The relevant operation cannot be performed in the main control room. The mounting and fixing of the guide rail must not touch any device in the touch screen to avoid short circuit or personal injury.
(2) Drilling the drill hole If drilling is required, care must be taken to ensure that the drill bit does not damage the equipment and circuit behind it. When drilling, find the cardboard and the plastic plate to catch the iron foam from the drill hole. Drops of molten iron fall into the operating equipment causing a short circuit or other influence on the equipment.
(3) Installation of lightning arrester Install the lightning arrester installed on the guide rail, firstly install the lightning protection device and the air relief card on the guide rail, fix the lightning protection device and the air defense board firmly and firmly with a fixing clamp, and install it on the screen. The lightning protection device on the inner panel must be fastened with screws to the four corners of the lightning arrester. The screws must be mated on the short side. Pay attention to the positive and negative directions of the lightning protection device and the air-opening, and follow the rules of the upper and lower parts.
Third, the lightning protection device wiring

Wiring should pay attention to the following points:
(1) First measure the length of the cable and then cut it off.
(2) The cut end is wrapped with insulating tape and insulated. The end of the wire strips the end of the wire. The length of the wire end should be 1cm-1.2cm. The end of the thread end should be covered with insulating tape (3 turns is appropriate) or heat shrinkage. The tube package is well insulated, and the stripped wire ends are connected to the lightning protector terminals in sequence, paying particular attention to the connection screws must be tightened, otherwise it will cause damage to the equipment caused by poor contact.
(3) The head of the wire connected to the screen must be pressed with a crimping pliers to compress the head. Then use an insulating tape or a heat shrinkable tube to make the end of the head and bread. After that, the head should distinguish the size and size of the head. When the wiring is connected to the screen bus or terminal respectively, the pressure screw must be pressed.
(4) After the cable is connected, tie the cable with a cable tie. The ground cable cannot be tied with the in-out signal cable.
(5) Check that there is no contact with the wiring at the same time, and handle them together immediately to avoid short circuit and other situations.
Fourth, the lightning protection device test
After the lightning arrester is completely installed, use a universal meter to test whether the lightning protection devices and the terminals on the air switch are fully energized, and then confirm that they are all open and then open and close.
After all the installation work is completed, you only need to periodically check whether the connection is loose and whether the working status is normal. If there is any damage or other phenomena, you must replace it in time.
