Jinan Petrochemicals has officially produced standard diesel fuel for the country's standard III. The first batch of output is 8,600 tons, and it is expected to produce 1.2 million tons annually. It has recently been sold to many provinces and regions across the country.
According to the person in charge of Jinan Petrochemicals, compared with the former National II standard, the National III diesel has a sulfur content of less than 350ppm from 2000ppm. It has the advantages of low sulfur content and good environmental performance. This also means that the sulfur content per 10,000 tons of diesel will be reduced by 16.5 tons, equivalent to a reduction of 33 tons of sulfur dioxide. According to reports, the headquarters of Sinopec stipulates that companies with capacity conditions within the system must produce the State III diesel before May 1st and strive to be listed two months ahead of the national production date set on July 1st. This is the first time the Jinan production of the product. To date, Jinan Refinery and Chemical Co., Ltd. has produced 8,600 tons of diesel, and the quality has reached the national standard. It is reported that the diesel fuel of the Nissan III will be sold locally in Jinan and Shandong, Jiangsu, and Anhui, and over 60% of the diesel oil in the Jinan market will come from Jinan Refinery.
Jinan Refining and Chemical Co., Ltd. official told reporters that in order to cope with hazy weather, the state requires that the national IV standard diesel must be used from 2015, and they will use the 800,000 tons/year hydrotreating unit on the basis of the production country III diesel oil. We will strive for the better performance of the State IV vehicle diesel fuel as soon as possible. At the same time, the company adopts adsorptive desulfurization and continuous reforming technologies, and it is expected that during the 11th year of this year, it will be able to produce vehicle gasoline that meets the National IV standard.
