Fire officers and soldiers rescue children with ropes

Assistant squadron leader Meng Qingtao climbed at the entrance of the septic tank and asked Pan Zhiyuan to call the child's name. He led the child through the searchlight. Subsequently, Pan Zhiyuan put a steel bar into the dung pool for the child to grasp. Meng Qingtao and several small firefighters reached out and tried to grab their children several times but were stuck at the entrance. Firefighters tried to use ropes again. After several failures, Meng Qingtao made a slipknot with a fire rope. When the child grabbed the reinforcement, he would trap the child.
