The turbine flowmeter has high accuracy, good repeatability, wide range, compact and light structure, convenient installation and maintenance, large circulation capacity, suitable for high-pressure measurement, and the instrument body does not need to be opened, which can realize quantitative control and over-quantification. Alarm and other functions are ideal for flow metering and energy saving. However, there are some requirements and methods to be noted in the installation of the turbine flowmeter.
In the installation and welding, first match a pair of standard flanges on the front and rear pipes, and do not directly weld with a flow meter. Before installation, the impurities such as welding slag in the pipeline should be removed. Pipes of equal diameter (or bypass pipes) should be used instead of the flowmeter to purge the pipeline. To ensure that the flowmeter is not damaged during use. When installing the flowmeter, the gasket between the flanges should not be recessed into the pipe.
The turbine flowmeter must be reliably grounded and cannot be shared with the ground of the high-power system. When the flowmeter is put into operation, the front valve should be slowly opened first, and then the rear valve should be opened to prevent the instantaneous airflow impact and damage the turbine. Lubricating oil should be operated according to the signboard. The number of refueling depends on the cleanliness of the temperament, usually 2-3 times a year. The turbine may be overrun due to pressure testing, purge piping or exhaust, and the turbine may be damaged in the reverse flow. When the flowmeter is running, it is not allowed to open the front and rear covers at will, and change the internal parameters, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the flowmeter. Carefully install the gasket to ensure that no protrusions enter the pipe to prevent interference with normal flow measurements. The flow meter collects pressure on the flow meter pressure tap at the time of calibration.
The transmitter should be installed horizontally to avoid vertical installation, and to ensure that there are suitable straight pipe sections before and after, generally 10D in the front and 5D in the rear. Finally, the measured medium must not corrode the turbine, especially at the bearing, otherwise measures should be taken.
The pre-installation preparation work is done well, which will bring convenience to daily use. The good installation method is not easy to cause damage to the instrument. This is certain.
