In the ore crushing process, according to the operation mode and the granularity of the crushed product, the crushing equipment is roughly classified into two types: crusher and grinding machine. According to the crushing method and principle, it is roughly divided into the following four types:
(1) Jaw-type crusher (also known as Tiger's mouth), it is an ancient, widely used crushing equipment. The crushing action is to periodically approach and leave the fixed jaw by the movable jaw. The ore block between the two slabs is crushed (mainly crushed) and discharged (dropped by its own weight), which is intermittently broken. According to the moving movement characteristics, the jaw crusher is divided into two types: simple pendulum type (double bracket plate) and compound pendulum type (single toggle plate).
(2) Cone crusher, which is a continuous crushing equipment. According to the ore and product particle size, the cone crusher is divided into a spiral cone crusher and a medium and fine crusher cone crusher. According to the parallel zone B of the crushing cavity (the gap between the moving cone and the fixed cone), the standard, intermediate and short-head conical crushers are divided into lengths. The rotary cone crusher and the jaw crusher are both coarse and coarse crushing equipment, but because the cone crusher works continuously, when the ore is the same in nature, its production capacity is much larger than that of the jaw crusher. The standard and short head types are used as medium and fine crushing equipment, respectively, and the intermediate type is between the two, generally used as the second section of crushing equipment when the two sections are broken.
(3) Impact crusher, which uses the "free" crushing principle of impact force to crush the ore. The ore is subjected to the impact of the striking plate (plate hammer) and the counterattack plate in the crusher and multiple interactions between the ore. The complex action of the impact smashes. Therefore, this crusher has a large crushing ratio, high efficiency, and less crushing. It is a promising crushing equipment.
(4) Roller crusher. The ore is fed into the two oppositely rotating round rolls (glossy or non-glossy) from the upper part, and is crushed by the roller by the friction of the material and the surface of the roll. The crushed ore is separated by gravity from the two rolls. Discharge at the gap. Mainly used for medium and fine crushing of medium hard and brittle materials.
