When the fan wind instrument shelf was touched, a 35 kV high voltage line was touched and an electric shock occurred, killing 3 people.

Industry insiders believe that frequent accidents expose many potential problems in China's wind farms. For example, in the construction of wind farms, the project quality management of some project owners is not strict, construction quality management of construction units and supervision and management of construction quality by supervision units are not in place; grassroots grid companies have lax access to wind farms, and unauthorized permission is not passed. Wind farms connected with grid safety assessment are connected to the power grid; in terms of wind farm operation, reactive power management and secondary system management do not meet grid security requirements.

According to the news, the National Energy Administration's five organizations including the China Electric Power Enterprise Association have formulated the "Framework for Wind Power Standards (Discussion Draft)", and the "Wind Power Equipment" jointly researched and drafted by the State Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration. The manufacturing industry access standards have also entered the consultation stage and will be announced soon.
