There are two types of wipers, one is the traditional intermittent type, which is the most common wiper, ranging from three to four segments, which is adjusted by the driver according to the rain and sight conditions; the other is the rain sensor type Mostly used in mid-to-high-end models. A good wiper must have the characteristics of heat resistance, cold resistance, acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, can fit windshield, reduce motor load, low noise, strong water resistance, soft and not scratched windshield, etc. Clear. Maintenance staff recommends that wipers should be replaced annually to ensure your safety.

1. First, find out which type of wiper is used in your car. Refer to the manual for the car to see the type of wiper indicated above.

2. Pay attention to whether the way of connecting the rod to the wiper arm matches. Because some of the arms are screwed to the rocker arm, and some are locked with a male buckle.

3. Pull the wiper up and touch it with a finger on the cleaned rubber wiper to check for damage and the elasticity of the rubber blade. If the blade is aged, hardened, and cracks appear, the wiper will fail.

4. During the test, place the wiper switch at various speed positions to check if the wiper maintains a certain speed at different speeds. Especially in the intermittent working state, we must also pay attention to whether the wiper maintains a certain speed while exercising.

5. Check the condition of the wiper and whether the wiper rod is uneven or missing. If the following three conditions occur, the wiper is not qualified. First, the swing is not smooth, the wiper does not move normally; the second is that the rubber contact surface and the glass surface can not be completely fit, resulting in wiping residue; the third is the appearance of water film after wiping the glass surface, the glass produces fine stripes, fog and Linear residue.

6. During the test, attention should be paid to whether the motor has abnormal noise, and it should be noticed that when the wiper motor hums and does not rotate. This means that the mechanical transmission part of the wiper is rusted or stuck, and the wiper switch should be turned off immediately to avoid burning the motor.

7. Some people think that the longer the length of the wiper blade, the larger the area of ​​the brush, the better the visual field. In fact, the longer the wiper blades are, the better. Although increasing the length of the wiper blade can increase the visible range of the visual field, it also relatively increases the burden on the wiper motor and the wiper shaft. Of course, it is certainly possible to increase length, but it must be ensured that the wiper cannot be prevented from working properly.
