The reporter learned from the 2010 China Auto Parts Industry Investment and Financing Summit Forum held in Tianjin that China’s auto parts investment will exhibit three major characteristics in 2010. That is, the industry’s merger and acquisition will form an expansion capability, and new energy vehicles will bring parts and components industries. New investment opportunities, venture capital and PE will increase investment in auto parts industry.
According to Xu Jinquan, CEO of China Automotive Consultation Center, it is expected that there will be two hot spots in the market. One is the remanufacturing of the entire parts and components industry brought by new energy. The concept of new energy does not mean that energy changes, but the entire drive system will undergo great changes. Second, the changes brought about by the light weight of automobiles will bring about changes in the structure and materials of many components.
It is understood that the average weight of European and American cars will continue to decrease by 20% in the next 10 years. In particular, materials such as aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys, composite materials, and high-strength steels will be widely used in the lighter weight of automobiles. Therefore, the corresponding increase in security technology will become a hot spot for investment research and development.
According to the statistics of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the output value of 10761 auto parts enterprises from January to August last year reached more than 750 billion yuan, and it is expected that the scale of the parts and components market will increase by more than 20% in 2010, and there will be more than 100 auto parts related to the country. Key industrial parks will benefit at the same time.
