According to foreign experience, high-moisture grains should be machine-dried within 3 hours after harvest, and their moisture content should be reduced to safe storage standards within 24 hours to ensure that the grain's biological activity and quality are not affected.
As far as rice is concerned, Jinhua Machinery has summarized a series of experiences, mainly including:
(1) Dry immediately after harvesting. Experience has shown that rice that has a moisture content of more than 24% will not dry after being left for 10 hours, so it must be dried immediately after harvest.
(2) Dry to the right moisture. The rice that was eaten in that year should be dried to a moisture content of 15%, not too low, and should be dried to 13% if stored after drying;
(3) Adopting a good drying machine should use low-temperature and high-air volume, dry evenly and without burst waist, and choose a reasonable rice drying machine for slow-soiling time.
