The magnetized serpentine-type nickel pyrite ore is formed in the shape of an island, and the olivine is completely formed into a grid shape and a checkerboard shape. According to the ore characteristics of the mine, the experimental study on 1 # and 2 # nickel-cobalt ore was carried out. Physical beneficiation using conventional methods of nickel and cobalt metal were enriched by the test method does not study physical beneficiation metal-rich nickel-cobalt, and thus chemical (hydrometallurgical) beneficiation methods, recovery of nickel and cobalt metals. The experimental research proves that the leaching rate of nickel-cobalt ore leached by sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid is higher. 3. The nickel-cobalt ore was tested by chemical (water smelting) beneficiation process. The leaching rate of nickel in 1 # nickel-cobalt ore was 81.84%, the leaching rate of cobalt was 71.79%, and the leaching rate of magnesium was 55.33%. The nickel in 2 # nickel-cobalt ore The leaching rate was 79.97%, the cobalt leaching rate was 68.26%, and the magnesium leaching rate was 57.48%.
4. The final product chemical nickel sulfide cobalt concentrate: nickel grade 15.14%, cobalt grade 0.73%. Chemical magnesite powder: 20% magnesium (magnesium oxide MgO ≥ 33%). Or chemical magnesium oxide 55.65.
5. The production process of this test is leaching of nickel-cobalt ore with sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid. The leaching rate of sulfuric acid is 1 # ore nickel is 81.84%, cobalt is 71.79%, 2 # ore nickel is 79.97%, and cobalt is 68.26%. The only shortcoming is that in the latter process, the solution is sticky when purifying iron and sulfide-precipitated nickel-cobalt, clarification, slow filtration rate, and difficult to use in production. The leaching rate of the hydrochloric acid solution is slightly higher than the leaching rate of the sulfuric acid solution, and the iron removal is purified, and the nickel sulfide is sulfided and precipitated easily. The nickel-cobalt ore is recommended to be: a process of leaching nickel-cobalt ore-neutralized water to remove iron-sulfided precipitated nickel-cobalt-carbonated precipitated magnesium. The process technology is advanced, reliable, and economically reasonable.
