The Orlando Ordnance Aviation Authority (GOAA) in Florida recently selected the International Aeronautics and Telecommunications Group (SITA) as the technology partner for biometric departures at the Orlando International Airport. Orlando International Airport became the first US airport to fully deploy the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) biometric immigration program. SITA will integrate its advanced biometric technology Smart Path at the airport's 30 international boarding gates.
Earlier this year, SITA partnered with the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, British Airways, and the Border Protection Agency to implement United States biometric departure checks for British Airways passengers. After the test was successful, this technology was promoted within the airport. The system not only allows passengers to board the plane more quickly and easily, but also incorporates a new, safe biometric departure check. It takes only 15 minutes for 240 British Airways passengers to board all flights. After Smart Path is deployed, passengers do not need to show boarding passes or passports, but can quickly check in via a camera confirmation.
U.S. Orlando Airport Implements Biometrics in All Directions
John Newsome, chief information officer of the Greater Orlando Aviation Administration, said: “After the test was successful, we decided to implement a biometric departure check at the entire airport. During the test, the innovative boarding process was welcomed by travelers. Travelers simply glance at the camera. The boarding gate opens in a matter of seconds. The whole process is easy, fast, and convenient, especially important. This solution is based on the needs of a common boarding gate, so it can be serviced at Orlando International Airport. Many international airlines."
Diana Einterz, president of SITA Americas, stated: "The Smart Path biometric technology implemented by the Biometrics Departure Inspection of the Greater Orlando Aviation Administration will simplify the travel process. Every year, 6 million international passengers departing from the airport will enjoy this. Conveniently, as a global leader in biometrics, SITA is committed to creating a safe and smooth travel experience for airline passengers around the world. We are honored to be a technical partner of the Greater Orlando Aviation Administration, and Orlando International Airport has become the number one A fully deployed biometric technology airport on an international flight originating in the United States."
Before October of this year, passengers taking international flights at Orlando International Airport will use biometric check-in services. In the next 4 months, SITA will integrate 64 Smart Check Paths at boarding gates and 30 boarding gates. According to the technology agreement, SITA will provide technical solutions, professional services, hardware and maintenance services, as well as support for SITA's global service management, that is, around-the-clock global operation support and proactive monitoring to meet the operational needs of the world's top airports and airlines.
Brass has excellent CNC Machining Turning performance, high-speed machining turning under the brass can get excellent surface finish. Our technical team has very good experience in machining brass, machining brass including brass plate, brass rod, brass tube. Brass hardware parts has high strength, good plasticity in hot state, good plasticity in cold state, good machinability, easy welding and good corrosion resistance. Brass parts are very durable. It is electrically conductive and does not usually corrode or deteriorate over time. Thus brass is often used to produce products with longer service life. Machining brass parts Widely used: pipes, radiators, ship parts.
