The CCPP project is a supporting project for the 5 million tons of high-quality sheet metal project in Anshan Iron and Steel Group. It is one of the key technological transformation projects of Anshan Iron and Steel Group during the 10th Five-Year Plan period. The generator set is the world's most powerful and most advanced combined cycle generator for burning low-calorific value blast furnace gas. Its main equipment is imported from Mitsubishi Corporation of Japan and is the first in China. The unit uses the blast furnace gas and coke oven gas, which are by-products of the blast furnace, as fuel, and generates electricity in the gas-steam combined cycle generator set. Through the recycling and utilization of blast furnace gas by CCPP, it can reduce the discharge of blast furnace gas, reduce energy loss, reduce atmospheric pollution, and obtain a large amount of electric energy by using the higher thermoelectric efficiency of this device. The maximum power generation per hour can reach 300,000. In kilowatt hours, the annual power generation capacity is more than 2 billion kWh, which can save more than 700,000 tons of standard coal per year than the same level of thermal power plants.
