LED subsidy policy has been put on the agenda

Recently, the reporter learned from relevant channels that the state is studying the policy of promoting financial subsidies to promote LED lighting products. Industry experts interviewed said that the possibility is very large, will further promote the popularity of LED. The competition among individual enterprises is no longer the competition of single product technology, and it has risen to the stage of system competition.
According to Xinhua News Agency, with the phasing out of incandescent lamps, in order to complete the task of energy saving and emission reduction, the LED subsidy policy has been put on the agenda. The roadmap for the elimination of incandescent lamps released by the country in 2011 shows that 60 watt incandescent lamps will be banned from October 1 this year. The subsidy policy for energy-saving lamps from 2008 will be completed by the end of this year. At present, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance and other departments are studying the policy of financial subsidies to promote LED lighting products. Pan Wenbo, director of Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co., Ltd. said: 60 watts is the mainstream incandescent lamp product in the civilian market. After delisting, it will open a huge civilian market for LED. He believes that the subsidy policy will make LEDs more acceptable to the end market.
The LED industry is also ready. Due to the large number of upstream chip manufacturers, the quality has been uneven. In the past two years, the upstream has been basically shuffled, and the main markets are concentrated to include foreign companies such as Purui and domestic Sanan. Puri Optoelectronics Chief Operating Officer TimLester revealed that Puri has increased its investment in China this year, following the establishment of a research and development center in Xiamen, and also reached a strategic cooperation with the domestic packaging leader Ruifeng Optoelectronics. In China, chip companies such as Changfang Lighting are also stepping up mergers and acquisitions to avoid falling behind.
The downstream reshuffle enters the critical period different from the upstream integration, and the downstream is still in the critical period of shuffling. According to the observation of Hu Zhongshun, the general manager of Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition, and the previous exhibitions, the integration of sustainable lighting solutions and LED technology has become the focus of the new exhibition. Take the lighting giant Philips as an example, whether it is home lighting or commercial lighting, it is fully promoting its intelligent solutions. Philips Lighting CEO Hong Anli said: The future lighting system will be integrated with mobile devices, applications, etc., and the role has surpassed lighting.
The domestic enterprises are not far behind, and the independent general manager of the LED lighting system, Lin Chenghao, the general manager of the LED lighting system, told the reporter: The enterprises that assemble and produce the products alone have no advantage and must be able to cover the complete supply chain in the field of LED lighting. The overall solution from LED lighting design, LED product modeling, application to engineering implementation, planning and design can win the competition. Pan Wenbo also believes that Chinese companies should have an international perspective and pay more attention to system thinking.
According to industry insiders, the development of the LED market requires both government promotion and industry competitiveness. According to the statistics of Guangya Lighting Research Institute, the domestic LED application market scale exceeded 200 billion yuan last year, and the growth rate is expected to reach 40.
