December 28, 2011 Yangzi Petrochemical Jinpu Rubber Co., Ltd. 100,000 tons/year of butadiene rubber plant was held in Nanjing Chemical Industry Park. Yangzi Petrochemical Jinpu Rubber Co., Ltd. is a joint venture established by Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Company and Jiangsu Jinpu Group at a ratio of 6:4. It has already started production of a 100,000-ton-grade styrene-butadiene rubber plant in June 2007. The newly-built 100,000-ton/year butadiene rubber project covers an area of ​​approximately 3.621 hectares with a total investment of 643 million yuan. The project fully relies on the existing public works and auxiliary facilities of styrene-butadiene rubber and adopts Shandong Qilu Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. to produce butadiene rubber. Technology, butadiene as raw materials, using nickel, aluminum, boron three yuan catalytic system. The project is scheduled to be completed in October 2012, which will promote the diversification of products by Yangjin Rubber Company.
