Liaoning machine tool export price ranks first among 13 provinces (municipalities)

On August 23, the reporter learned from Shenyang Customs that in the first 7 months, Liaoning exported 15 579 machine tools, an increase of 43.3% over the same period of last year, with a value of 85.93 million US dollars, an increase of 47.4%. According to the data, among the 13 provinces and municipalities that had exported more than 10,000 machine tools during the first seven months of 2010, the average price for exporting machine tools in Liaoning Province was US$5,516 per unit, ranking first.

The largest exporter of machine tool products in Liaoning is a sawing machine or a cutting machine, which is 10,956 units, an increase of 86.5%, accounting for 70.3%, but the value only accounts for 1.6% of the total export value. In the same period, as a representative of high-end machine tool products, CNC machine tools and machining centers exported a total of 1022 units, an increase of 83.2%, accounting for 6.6%, which accounted for an increase of 1.5 percentage points over the same period of last year, with a value of US$43.94 million, an increase of 82.3%.

Asia and Africa are major markets, and exports to Latin America have multiplied. The machine tools exported from Liaoning mainly face the Asian and African markets, and exported 9,946 units and 3,139 units to Asia and Africa, respectively, an increase of 39.7% and 46.7% respectively.
