BYD Commercial Vehicle Brings T3, T5 to International Electric Vehicle Technology Show

From June 21st to 23rd, 2017, the 2nd China (Beijing) International Electric Vehicle Technology Show and Trade Fair (EVTec China 2017) was held at the Beijing National Convention Center. BYD commercial vehicles carried T3 pure electric logistics vehicles and T5 pure electric vehicles. Compressed garbage trucks and K9, K8 pure electric buses debuted to bring all kinds of high-quality pure electric vehicle products to all walks of life to lead the development of green traffic.

Logistics sanitation double strike T3, T5 deepen new energy strategy

In the field of logistics, in order to meet the development needs of the city's logistics and transportation, BYD has launched a comprehensive range of T-series pure electric logistics products, with the outstanding advantages of economy, quality and environmental protection, leading the logistics industry to a green development. In this exhibition, BYD exhibited the T3 pure electric logistics vehicle. The T3 adopts MPV design. The length of the car is about 4.5 meters, the load is 0.8 tons or more, and the cargo space is 3.5 cubic meters. Through the use of high-capacity, high-power iron batteries, the T3 cruising range is more than 250 kilometers, which can effectively solve the "last mile" transportation problem in the logistics industry.

T3 pure electric logistics vehicle

In the sanitation sector, BYD brings the T5 pure electric compression garbage truck. T5 changed the traditional environmental sanitation vehicle's impression of the public and won wide attention with its characteristics of “zero emission, zero pollution, and low noise”. The T5 pure electric compression garbage truck is 6.3m long, with a volume of 6m3. The car body is made of high-strength 16Mn steel plate as a whole and has good corrosion resistance and long service life. The vehicle adopts an electric integrated bridge assembly technology and CAN bus control technology. The on-board battery has a DC-AC inverter technology. In the case of no outdoor charging piles, the vehicles can charge each other.
